Light colored suits, particularly light shades of brown, are perfect for the sunny days in spring and summer. One of the best looking suits for the sunny day is light tan/beige in color. It is a color that not only compliments other "summer" colors on shirts and men's ties, but is also a fabric that is much more comfortable on a hot summer day. Most of these "summer suits" are made from thinner wool, cotton, and even linen (known as the "Panama Suit"). If the pattern-less fabric is too plain for you, then you may want to consider subtle fabric weaves such as finely woven bird's eye pattern, delicate pin-stripes, or mens silk ties.

The Burgundy and Navy striped men's ties adds a more conservative and elegant touch. The light blue pocket square and the yellow-orange boutonniere add sophistication and playful character to the overall look. The best shoe and belt colors are brown, and preferred is gold on jewelry such as wrist watch, cufflinks, and belt buckle.
